Project Manager, Civil/Environmental Engineer

Duties/Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and develop strong client relationships.
• Manage financial and technical aspects of projects.
• Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary and scheduling requirements.
• Demonstrate very strong verbal communications and written skills including client deliverables and regulatory submittals.
• Assign and manage work effectively.
• Show strong coaching and mentoring skills.
• Show skills in quality control, planning, cost estimating, and scheduling.
• Plan and direct environmental field observation and testing programs; select laboratory tests and evaluate data.
• Collaborate and lead multi-disciplinary project teams on all aspects of the project to address client goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science in civil or environmental engineering, geology/hydrogeology, environmental science, or related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of environmental experience.
• Experience working in the New York State Brownfield Cleanup Program and New York City Office of Environmental Remediation Program.
• Professional Engineer and/or Professional Geologist licensure in the State of New York or the ability to obtain licensure within 1-year is highly preferred.
• Strong computer literacy skills including proficiency in industry standard software.
• OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER training required.
