About Your Role
As an Implementation Project Specialist, you will lead implementation activities for new and existing debit clients, helping ensure solutions are delivered on time and aligned to client requirements. You will work with clients and cross-functional internal teams to coordinate project plans, manage milestones, maintain documentation, and support a consistent implementation process that supports quality, scalability, and client readiness.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Lead implementation projects from initial planning through final delivery, coordinating activities, timelines, and dependencies across internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain, and update project plans, task lists, status reports, and implementation documentation to support project visibility and execution.
- Gather client requirements, confirm parameter settings, and enter key implementation details into internal systems and proprietary databases.
- Coordinate multiple implementation workstreams with internal partners to meet client requirements, target dates, and quality standards.
- Maintain project documentation, procedures, and audit-related records associated with product, feature, and implementation readiness.
- Support after-hours implementation activity as needed to complete client launches and maintain project continuity.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in project coordination, implementation, or project management within electronic funds transfer, payments, debit, banking, or financial services environments.
- 3+ years of experience managing multiple client-facing implementation activities, project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools to create project documentation, status reporting, and task tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate project status, timelines, risks, and next steps clearly in verbal and written formats.
- Demonstrated ability to work with clients and cross-functional teams to resolve implementation issues, manage expectations, and meet delivery milestones.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience, preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in electronic funds transfer, debit, or broader financial industry implementations.
- Experience entering or validating implementation parameters in proprietary platforms or operational databases.
- Project Management certification or similar credential, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
- Master’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
Schedule
This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

Pay
Salary Range $66,000.00 - $105,600.00. These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
This position is not eligible for an annual incentive opportunity and is also not eligible to earn commissions.
You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
