Project Management Consultant-Level 1 - Associate (0 - 5 Years)
About the role
This position assists in the overall management of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals. The role involves supporting construction work performed by contractors and vendors at the project site. This is an office-based role that can incorporate travel on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities
- Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements.
- Assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance on assigned projects.
- Evaluate potential problems and technical issues to develop solutions.
- Supervise current projects and coordinate team members to maintain workflow.
- Manage project-related paperwork, ensuring all materials are current and properly filed.
- Direct project correspondence by preparing and reviewing proposals, memos, and emails.
- Communicate with clients to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Adhere to budgets by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Cookordination project activities with vendors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and local officials.
- Aid in scope control, budget oversight, and performance reporting.
Requirements
- Education: An Associate's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Land Surveying, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 0 - 5 years of experience managing project execution, including vendor and contractor coordination. Experience in the construction/renewables industry is ideal.
- Technical Skills: Experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Pay
The pay for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The role requires travel to project sites as required (up to 25%) and for initial catastrophic turbine assessments (5-10%). Driving is a required part of the position duties.
