Project Management Analyst
About the role
Provide analysis and assistance in planning and organizing multiple divisional/departmental projects within the organization. Participate in multiple divisional/departmental projects/programs to ensure all project components—including computer systems, policies, processes, performance standards, and training—are identified, assigned, and completed across department/division lines.
Assist in the preparation of reports and briefings to committees, management, and division heads as directed. Track and communicate the status of project tasks to other team members and managers. Perform collection, analysis, and reporting of project status.
Participate on various committees and task forces to ensure consideration of project needs and provide documentation to support those needs. Analyze any problems, issues, or concerns involving all aspects of the project and take necessary actions to resolve them. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Accounting/Finance, MIS, or a directly related discipline.
- 2 years of exempt experience in project/program management, product development, systems design/development, or business/financial planning and analysis.
- Experience in the use of project management/planning software is a plus.
- Experience in planning major projects, including development of project proposals, business cases, schedules, and financial justification, is a plus.
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
- Knowledge and application of QDM practices/principles is a plus.
- Competencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint are preferred.
- Strong human relations, leadership, and communication skills.
