About the role
This role supports the evaluation, tracking, and execution for Supplier Development Funding. Key responsibilities include coordinating and vetting supplier proposals to enhance supplier throughput for key components meeting NNS requirements. Desired attributes include self-starting behavior, initiating discussions independently, sound documentation and presentation skills, and strong communication with various levels of leadership.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and vet supplier proposals to improve supplier throughput for key components meeting NNS requirements
- Work closely with value stream members to manage supplier development funding
- Initiate discussions as needed without being prompted
- Document and present findings effectively
- Interact with various levels of leadership
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant exempt experience; or a Master’s Degree and 8 years of relevant professional experience
- Equivalent to Bachelor's Degree through:
- NNS Apprentice School graduate
- Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
- Associate's Degree or other formal 2-year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
- Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
- High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
- High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
Qualifications
