Project Leader 2 - Tysons, VA with Security Clearance

About the role

M.C. Dean is seeking a Project Leader and Deputy Project Leaders in Tysons, Virginia, 22030. The ideal candidate should have 7+ years of experience with a Master’s degree in Engineering, extensive experience working on electrical projects ranging from $500,000 to $10M, and proficiency in Project Mgmt, CPM Scheduling, Cost, and AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee electrical projects ranging from $500,000 to $10M.
• Work with contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendums, specifications, change orders, RFIs, submittals.
• Use sophisticated Project Mgmt, CPM Scheduling, Cost, and AutoCAD software.
• Apply design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing precision technical plans, blueprints, and drawings on electrical projects.
• Ensure adherence to standard deliverables and work processes on projects.
• Act as a problem owner/solver and possess strong interpersonal and writing skills.
• Plan and organize activities or those of others effectively.
• Show attention to detail and have exceptional MS Excel skills.
• Experience with scheduling (MS Project) is a plus.
• Experienced with Microsoft Project.

• Familiarity with standard deliverables and work processes on projects.

• Proven ability to effectively plan and organize one's own activities or the activities of others.

• Exceptional MS Excel skills.
• Experience with scheduling (MS Project) is a plus.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in MCD core disciplines.
