About the role
The Project Expeditor owns the delivery schedule for the materials, components, and equipment that keep Fervo's projects moving. They build and maintain the master delivery timeline, track critical packages from award through fabrication and shipment, and surface risk before it threatens a drilling program or project milestone.
Responsibilities
- Own and reissue the consolidated procurement and delivery schedule across active packages
- Track open purchase orders against the master schedule and flag deviations from committed delivery dates early
- Run recurring check-ins with vendors and freight carriers to validate schedule commitments and drive corrective action
- Track dependencies between vendor drawings, engineering approvals, fabrication milestones, and site readiness, and resolve conflicts before they cascade downstream
- Escalate delivery and schedule risk to the Procurement Manager and project stakeholders with a recommended path forward
- Support field teams during active drilling campaigns, prioritizing material needs by operational urgency and non-productive-time risk
- Maintain supplier performance reporting — on-time, delivery, lead times, filling rates — to inform future award and scheduling decisions
- Drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field; equivalent oilfield or energy supply chain experience considered
- 3+ years of experience in expediting, procurement, scheduling, or supply chain project management
- Working knowledge of project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar) and ERP/procurement platforms
Qualifications
- Experience in oilfield services, upstream / downstream oil and gas, geothermal, or heavy industrial supply chains
