4th-generation family-owned firm, 100+ years in the industry, is looking for a PX to join their Mechanical Division!
This role is best suited for someone who can own a portfolio, drive financial performance, develop client relationships, and help grow the business.
Focus on energy, water, wastewater, commercial (offices & labs), industrial, and institutional sectors for clients across MA, NH, CT
Job Description
- Leading a team of Project Managers and large project portfolios
- Completing complex water/wastewater treatment facilities - $25M+
- Owning P&L performance, forecasting, cash flow, margin management, and strategic planning
- Developing client relationships and generate new business
- Leading pursuits, proposals, interviews, and presentations
- Expanding company presence throughout water/wastewater, industrial, manufacturing, and energy markets
- Overseeing project execution, safety, quality, and operational excellence
- Mentoring PMs and support team development
- Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including design and engineering teams
- Maintaining clear and consistent communication with all parties involved in the project
- Managing risk by identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies
- Helping to create a strong culture - hardworking, honest and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of leadership experience with full P&L ownership
- 10+ years of construction management experience from preconstruction to close out
- Proven experience leading a team of 5+
- Water/wastewater + infrastructure project experience ($15M-$25M+)
- Strong knowledge of treatment processes, mechanical systems and permitting
- Heavy Industrial, Mechanical, Process Piping, Water/Wastewater, Manufacturing, Energy, or Utility construction experience
- Expertise in: Construction methodologies, Design-build delivery, Financial management, Forecasting and project controls, Estimating oversight
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-management skills
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- OSHA 10, DOT Medical Card, Valid Drivers License
