Project Executive I

SUMMARY

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Project Executive I responsible for providing overall project management, leading the team, and maintaining successful customer relations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and maintain successful customer and community relationships
• Conduct key customer service visits from pre-construction to close-out
• Preview proposals and participate in Request for Proposal process
• Act as primary customer contact for assigned projects
• Support business development initiatives and maintain customer relationships
• Provide oversight and accountability for large projects
• Manage contract administration, including terms, change requests, and invoices
• Maintain project budgets, costs, and pricing for profitable delivery
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for project team

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction management overseeing large projects
• Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects
• Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
• Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
• Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
• Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
• Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
• Current driver’s license

Pay Range

The base pay range for this role is $168,100 - $252,200. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
