About the Role
This position supports missile and propulsion systems within defense programs, focusing on pressurant and propellant components, design verification, manufacturing, and testing.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and external vendors to execute phases of pressurant and propellant components.
- Ensure design verification and support manufacturing and testing processes.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners to analyze product performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Refine specifications and conduct trade studies.
- Support hardware integration, sustainment, and process improvements.
- Travel up to 10% and work extended hours to meet project needs as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and GD&T.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, lean principles, CAD (CREO), and PLM systems (Windchill) is preferred.
- Experience with valves, regulators, tanks, or transducers, and a defense industry background is a plus.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Pay
Salary ranges from $92,500 to $171,500 in California.
