Key Duties
- Overseeing design teams, including engineers, drafters, and technical staff, to meet project objectives
- Managing project budgets, estimating costs, and coordinating with finance to control expenses
- Monitoring and scheduling project timelines to ensure timely completion
- Evaluating and approving scope, schedule, and budget changes
- Leading technical design reviews, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications
- Preparing proposals, cost estimates, and resource planning
- Collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and team members to resolve issues
- Mentoring junior staff and fostering team development
- Maintaining quality control standards and comprehensive project documentation
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Over 10 years of project management experience
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office
- Design review, resource planning, risk management, and effective communication competencies
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform occasional site visits and travel
This role is primarily performed in an office environment with standard hours and flexible scheduling to meet project demands.
