Key Duties

  • Overseeing design teams, including engineers, drafters, and technical staff, to meet project objectives
  • Managing project budgets, estimating costs, and coordinating with finance to control expenses
  • Monitoring and scheduling project timelines to ensure timely completion
  • Evaluating and approving scope, schedule, and budget changes
  • Leading technical design reviews, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications
  • Preparing proposals, cost estimates, and resource planning
  • Collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and team members to resolve issues
  • Mentoring junior staff and fostering team development
  • Maintaining quality control standards and comprehensive project documentation

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Over 10 years of project management experience
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office
  • Design review, resource planning, risk management, and effective communication competencies
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform occasional site visits and travel

This role is primarily performed in an office environment with standard hours and flexible scheduling to meet project demands.
