Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead project assignments with project staff.
  • Manages and perform system design, including calculations, equipment selection, layout, and drawing preparation.
  • Plan and conduct evaluation and site observation.
  • Review project documents, specifications, and design options; ensure code compliance through meetings and reviews.
  • Make recommendations based on findings.
  • Conduct site investigations and technical research to support design decisions.
  • Apply standard engineering practices and software tools to produce high-quality deliverables.
  • Build and develop internal and external relationships.

Requirements

  • Required Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
    • Professional Engineer License (PE)
  • PREFERRED Education & Experience:
    • 6+ years’ experience
    • Strong knowledge of relevant codes and design standards
    • Strong command of core engineering principles with the ability to apply them to real-world, multidisciplinary projects
    • Proficient in problem-solving
    • Experienced with industry-standard software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
    • Cognizant of data interpretation and statistical analysis
    • Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals
    • Critical thinking and sound engineering judgement
    • Detail-oriented and quality focused
    • Effective communicator

Pay

Salary range for this position varies between $85,000 – $130,000, depending upon applicable experience.
