Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead project assignments with project staff.
- Manages and perform system design, including calculations, equipment selection, layout, and drawing preparation.
- Plan and conduct evaluation and site observation.
- Review project documents, specifications, and design options; ensure code compliance through meetings and reviews.
- Make recommendations based on findings.
- Conduct site investigations and technical research to support design decisions.
- Apply standard engineering practices and software tools to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Build and develop internal and external relationships.
Requirements
- Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Professional Engineer License (PE)
- PREFERRED Education & Experience:
- 6+ years’ experience
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes and design standards
- Strong command of core engineering principles with the ability to apply them to real-world, multidisciplinary projects
- Proficient in problem-solving
- Experienced with industry-standard software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Cognizant of data interpretation and statistical analysis
- Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals
- Critical thinking and sound engineering judgement
- Detail-oriented and quality focused
- Effective communicator
Pay
Salary range for this position varies between $85,000 – $130,000, depending upon applicable experience.
