Project Engineer- Large Reputable GC- Comp up to $90k

About the role

Support the Project Management team on multiple active construction projects simultaneously. Assist with project coordination, documentation, scheduling, communication, and administrative project functions. Work closely with Project Managers and field teams to help ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. Participate in various phases of project delivery, gaining exposure to both office and field operations. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain project progress and resolve issues proactively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project coordination, documentation, scheduling, communication, and administrative project functions.
• Work closely with Project Managers and field teams to help ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Participate in various phases of project delivery, gaining exposure to both office and field operations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain project progress and resolve issues proactively.
• Contribute to projects across a variety of sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, multifamily, food & beverage, and other market segments.

Requirements

• 0-4 years of construction industry experience.
• Ability to commute to South Burlington, Vermont.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Desire to learn and grow within a construction project management career path.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across several active projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline (preferred).
• Prior exposure to commercial construction projects (preferred).
• Internship, co-op, or project coordination experience within construction environments (preferred).

Pay

$60,000 - $90,000 base salary
