Responsibilities

  • Provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the business by applying proven project management techniques.
  • Coordinate the progression of trades and design-field staff.
  • Participate in Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings following projects from commencing of construction to occupancy by end users.
  • Oversee work completed by contractors and consultants is of the highest quality with safety being our highest priority.
  • Support the project team by developing and maintaining project cost/change controls, project budget, and change order estimates/negotiations.
  • Work on multiple fast-moving projects and larger, long-scheduled projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering or related disciplines
  • 3+ years of experience working on construction or civil projects
  • Knowledge of construction contract administration during the construction phase
  • Knowledge or experience with construction document controls software or applications
  • Previous experience managing a Document Control effort
  • Previous experience in a construction environment is highly desirable, with an understanding of the construction process and coordination of various entities in the industry
  • Previous experience in processing and reviewing RFIs
  • The ability to review construction contract documents and drawings to establish base scope and the ability to analyze and track changes to project scope
  • Previous experience working in K12 construction projects

  • Experience in a construction environment is highly desirable, with an understanding of the construction process and coordination of various entities in the industry

Pay

$75,000.00 to $90,000.00

Schedule

Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
