Project Structural Engineer, Buildings

Responsibilities

• Structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems.
• Aiding in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Collaborating with staff and clients on projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• A Master’s Degree would be considered an asset.
• P.E. license preferred; S.E. license would be considered an asset.
• 3-6 years of experience in the execution of residential, commercial, or institutional buildings projects as a Structural Engineer is required.
• Experience in historic buildings preservation would be considered an asset.
• Proficiency with computer analysis software (e.g. RISA, SAP, RAM).
• Working knowledge of REVIT.

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $70,000 - $100,000 annually for this position and local market.
