UIC Arctic Operations & Development is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in the Arctic region.
About the role
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery within the Arctic operations and development sector. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of project management principles.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met
- Oversee project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience
- Experience in Arctic operations and development industry preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally
Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Experience with project management software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of Arctic operations and development industry standards and regulations

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
