Project Engineer - Commercial Interiors

Responsibilities

• Learn every aspect of project management
• Drive complex commercial construction projects to completion
• Collaborate with a wide spectrum of industry professionals
• Use technical and people skills to turn client visions into reality
• Interact with professionals from all levels of the industry
• Set up and attend job walks
• Prepare and qualify bids
• Cook up and coordinate building access
• Prepare meeting minutes and weekly status reports
• Track and review RFI's, submittals, shop drawings, samples, procurement and cost management
• Complete project start-up and close-out documents
• Aid Project Manager and Superintendent with daily project management

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college with major coursework in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field preferred
• 1-2 years of construction experience preferred
• Knowledge of construction principles, techniques, and procedures
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, project scheduling, BlueBeam, Procore, PlanGrid and CAD
• Effective in presenting information orally, written, and graphically
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to read architectural/engineering plans and specifications
• Basic knowledge of project estimating & scheduling
• Organize and manage multiple priorities
• Adapt to meet project needs to ensure success

Qualifications

• $75,000 - $87,500 a year

Pay

The actual salary will be carefully considered based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
