About the role
We are seeking a Design Project Engineer to join our talented team onsite in Santa Clara, California. This position plays a pivotal role in overseeing the design, planning, and execution of projects related to cutting-edge advanced technology facilities.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and coordination of design-side engineering projects for advanced technology facilities in the semiconductor industry.
- Cleanroom design, data centers, or semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Provide technical expertise in the design phase of projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client requirements.
- Review and approve design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and integrate them into the facility design.
- Implement quality assurance measures to ensure that designs meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular design reviews and address any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain project costs and implement cost-control measures to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address concerns.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Professional work or internship experience as a Project Engineer supporting facility design in the advanced technology sector.
- Experience with state-of-the-art technologies such as cleanroom design, data centers, or semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
- Background in facility design, with a focus on technology integration.
- Project management skills and proficiency in project management tools.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
- Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient design practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
