About the role

Olsson provides multidisciplinary design services for large hyperscale data center campuses across the U.S. As a Project Electrical Engineer on our Data Center team, you will work on some of the largest and most complex engineering-driven projects. You will serve as a project manager on some projects and lead design engineer on others, preparing planning and design documents, processing design calculations, and developing team and client standards. Responsibilities include leading quality assurance/quality control, acting as an advisor on complex projects, and coordinating with Olsson teams, clients, and consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare planning and design documents for data center projects.
  • Process design calculations and develop/maintain team and client standards.
  • Lead quality assurance/quality control efforts on complex projects.
  • Act as an advisor and coordinate with Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, clients, and consultants.
  • Serve as project manager or lead design engineer, depending on the project.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of related mechanical engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Previous experience managing employees preferred.

Pay

National pay range: $98,000—$145,000 USD. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, experience, and qualifications. Eligible for performance-based bonus and merit increases.
