Project Electrical Engineer - Data Centers
About the role
The Project Electrical Engineer on our Data Center team at Olsson will be a key member of our largest and most complex projects. You will serve as a project manager on some projects and lead design engineer on others. Typical responsibilities include preparing planning and design documents, processing design calculations, and developing and maintaining team and client standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare planning and design documents
- Process design calculations
- Develop and maintain team and client standards
- Lead quality assurance/quality control
- Act as an advisor on complex projects
- Coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, clients, and other consultants
Qualifications
- 6+ years of related mechanical engineering experience required
- Project management experience preferred
- Proficient in Revit
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Strong communication skills
- Must be a registered professional engineer
- Previous experience managing employees preferred
Pay
The typical annual salary range for this role is $110,000—$150,000 USD. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, experience, and qualifications.
