Project Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Leading the electrical design and coordinating electrical systems using AutoCAD and Revit
• Creating construction documents and specifications
• Executing quality assurance/quality control plans
• Mentoring and training
• Cross-discipline coordination
• Performing supporting calculations
• Meeting with clients to discuss conceptual and final designs
• Traveling to job sites for observation
• Providing services such as power distribution, lighting, arc flash studies, and electrical modeling

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

• 5-15+ years of experience in electrical engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Understanding of International Building Codes
• Experience with RSMeans preferred
