About the role
We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to oversee the design and management of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design efforts, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence.
- Manage and mentor electrical engineering staff across diverse projects.
- Build and maintain client relationships to understand their needs and drivers.
- Develop technical guidance, standards, and compliance with engineering codes and policies.
- Prepare complex engineering deliverables, perform advanced calculations, and recommend equipment and material selections.
- Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams and oversee project execution.
- Support business development activities and contribute to resource management strategies.
- Mentor junior professionals and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
- Ensure adherence to quality programs and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 5 years of related experience.
- Electrical Professional Engineer license (preferred).
- Experience with consulting, EPC execution, and BESS projects.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and manage multiple projects effectively.
