Position Summary

This position acts as a project manager in the design and construction of transportation improvement projects, conducting activities related to scoping, developing, monitoring, and reporting project schedules, budgets, issues, and resources. This position has primary responsibility for the overall project delivery.

This position manages activities on multiple transportation improvement projects including those of a highly complex nature for continuity in both design and construction phases. This position serves as a resource and advisor to the supervisors and project leaders. This position may also perform as a constriction and/or design leader directing major complex projects and assisting the team by advising and coaching team members on projects.

Salary Information

This position is in schedule-range 14-13 with an annual salary of $92,768 to $112,237, plus excellent benefits. Plus, an additional $2,080 per year for a Professional Engineer License.

Qualifications

  • A valid Professional Engineering registration and be able to obtain a Wisconsin PE registration within 3 months if PE registration is from another state

Job Details

This position requires the ability to travel independently statewide to oversee assigned construction projects and staff with overnight stays in remote locations.

In this position, fieldwork is required. Fieldwork can include working in all seasons, including adverse weather conditions and working in high volume traffic conductions.
