About the role
GreenBlue is an environmental nonprofit focused on accelerating a regenerative, just, and sustainable materials economy through projects like the Sustainable Packaging Coalition and the How2Recycle on-pack labeling system. This is a temporary position lasting approximately 90 days, with the possibility of a full-time, regular position with benefits upon successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead on Cvent event registration and related systems development, implementation, and troubleshooting for all GreenBlue events
- Lead in Event Tech Stack including RSVP systems, Event App, event website updates, and webinars
- Support Associate Director Marketing Communications in the implementation of the Social Media strategy for the organization
- Support Associate Director Marketing Communication on external marketing partnerships fulfillment
- Be the liaison with the event AV company including preparing ROS, stingers, and coordinating timelines
- Support event logistics, procurement, and fulfillment as needed
- Prepare Social Media Graphics and related copy for speakers and sponsors to showcase their event participation
- Take an active onsite role as part of the Marketing Communications and Events team at GreenBlue events
- Support the Marketing Communications team as needed

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or event management and minimum 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination, including at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience working at or with a nonprofit organization
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and event logistics
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proficiency with Cvent Registration Systems, Event Apps, and other Event Tech
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Canva, and event tech stack including presentations (slide decks) management
- Experience using Clickup is a plus
- Experience with website management, especially with Wordpress
- Experience cultivating, negotiating, and managing relationships with key stakeholders and vendors
- Experience writing event marketing copy (long and short form)
- Experience fostering an environment of creativity and professional growth
- Experience working in a matrixed environment and collaborating and implementing multiple projects
