About the role

Koniag Advisory Business Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Project Coordinator I (Part-Time) to support KABS and our government customer in Harlem, MT. This position is covered under the Service Contract Act. This is a part-time, on-site support position for a 12-month period of performance. Personnel shall work a standard schedule, up to 4 hours per day, 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the core hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, excluding federal holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Support program operations through scheduling activities, coordinating meetings, and tracking action items.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update routine program documentation, reports, logs, spreadsheets, and trackers.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal coordination between departments and with external partners, as directed by Service Unit leadership.
  • Aid in data entry, record maintenance, document filing, and document control.
  • Track requests, assignments, due dates, and follow-up items in support of leadership and program staff.
  • Provide general administrative support related to program operations, including routing correspondence and maintaining shared files and records.
  • Assist with coordination of site visits, trainings, meetings, and other operational activities as requested.
  • Maintain professional and effective communication with staff, patients, and external partners, consistent with the responsibilities of the role.
  • Support organizational and operational continuity by helping ensure tasks, records, and communications are properly documented and followed through to completion.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one (1) year of administrative, office support, project support, or coordination experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize multiple tasks, maintain records, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in standard office software, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work professionally with staff, leadership, patients, and external partners, as appropriate.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Ability to work independently with general direction and coordinate effectively with others.

Schedule

Supervision and Work Direction

The Project Coordinator I will work under the direction of the Service Unit Supervisor or designee. Work schedules will be coordinated with the Service Unit Supervisor or designee. Assigned duties will be reviewed periodically to ensure conformance with Service Unit expectations, applicable policies and procedures, and accepted professional practices.

Work Environment

  • This position is performed on site at the Fort Belknap Service Unit.
  • The role is primarily administrative in nature and requires regular use of computers, office equipment, and electronic communication systems.
  • The position will often require attendance at meetings, training, and site support activities during scheduled working hours.

Additional Information

  • This position is intended to support Fort Belknap Service Unit operations through dependable administrative coordination, documentation support, and follow-through on day-to-day program needs.
  • Approved IHS Security Clearance minimum requirements.
  • Pass Background Investigation.
  • US Citizen.
