About the Opportunity
This Project Coordinator role supports and advances project initiatives from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. The position contributes to maintaining effective workflows and communication across teams, facilitating project success and operational efficiency. It offers foundational experience in project management, crucial for career growth within this sector.
Responsibilities
- Support daily project activities including timelines, status reports, and project routing
- Collaborate with team members to maintain communication and anticipate challenges
- Assist with project setup, tracking, and reporting using project management tools
- Support programs with budgets between $1M and $2M, potentially managing smaller budgets with oversight
- Perform administrative duties as required, up to 50% of the time
- Assist in budget tracking and reporting to ensure accuracy and profitability
- Participate in mentorship and training to develop operational and collaborative skills
- Promote adherence to workplace values such as client service, accountability, and collaboration
- Schedule and facilitate internal meetings for status updates and project kickoffs
- Provide proactive updates on timelines and resourcing under guidance
- Learn agency frameworks, client requirements, and regulatory processes
- Help resolve workflow challenges to maintain efficiency and accountability
- Foster candid communication and trust during project planning and execution
- Observe and learn risk identification and mitigation, contributing to issue escalation
- Engage in onboarding and continuous training on agency processes and project management best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a positive, team-oriented environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience preferred
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences fields is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Mac operating system
- Strong collaboration, adaptability, initiative, and accountability skills
Pay
Estimated salary range: $40,000 to $60,000 USD. Eligible for discretionary annual bonus.
