About the role

The Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager in Estimating and Project Management for multiple projects. Responsibilities include assisting with bid preparation, managing project resources, representing the company, and maintaining project documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in preparing bids by addressing constructability issues and working with project managers/senior project managers.
  • Prepare quantity take-offs for proposals and coordinate with project manager, senior project manager, general superintendent, and project foremen.
  • Manage company resources on all projects, attend pre-bid meetings, and represent the company at project meetings.
  • Direct and assist project foremen at project sites and prepare bids.
  • Pricing and final submission of bid documents, reviewing and understanding all plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents.
  • Act as a technical/constructability expert during the proposal process, procure subcontract and material quotes, and review quotes to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Prepare summaries of additional project requirements and review them with the project manager and senior project manager.
  • Manage projects from award to close-out, prepare documents, and attend in-house and owner meetings.
  • Maintain original plans and specifications, distribute revisions to suppliers and subcontractors, and perform duties consistent with Kwest Group's Mission Statement and philosophy.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

Qualifications

  • Preferred work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role, but not required.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
  • Strong technical skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Prior experience with HCSS, and Primavera is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Valid state driver’s license and qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of Company’s driving policy.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • Ability to pass a drug, driving, and background screening.

Skills

  • Preparation and interpretation of flowcharts, schedules, and action plans.
  • Reading and understanding DOT style plans and specifications.
  • Organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Client-facing and teamwork skills.
  • Technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Experience with HCSS and Primavera.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule
