Expected Hiring Range: $48,100.00 – $60,000.00
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and internal pay comparison.
About the Role
This position supports research studies through subject recruitment, payment, scheduling, testing, and equipment maintenance. The Project Coordinator ensures data accuracy, assists with IRB and HRPO applications, and manages operational and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage subject recruitment process, including maintaining a database of calls and responses, developing recruitment materials, and contacting potential research subjects.
- Track subject responses, prepare and administer IRB consent forms, and ensure proper signing by participants.
- Create reimbursement forms for subjects and submit them to Accounts Payable to ensure timely payments; track payments via spreadsheet.
- Schedule and remind subjects of study appointments (including neuropsychological testing) via email or phone; coordinate visits with the General Clinical Research Unit for phlebotomy and physical examinations.
- Enter participant data into REDCap, ensure accuracy of double data entry, and reconcile data discrepancies from monthly cleaning reports to maintain data integrity.
- Oversee double data entry performed by summer/work-study students.
- Assist in manuscript preparation and perform literature searches.
- Interact with collaborating Principal Investigators (PIs) for day-to-day study operations.
- Generate monthly recruitment reports and ensure recruitment goals are met.
- Monitor non-salary budgets, process travel expense reports, book travel for participants, and order supplies for assigned grants.
- Assist with compilation of annual reports, manuscripts for publication, and updates to the study website and social media pages.
- Liaise with study staff, investigators, and Research Coordinators to resolve operational and administrative issues.
- Submit invoices and manage supplies ordering for respective studies.
