Project Coordinator - Department of Information Technology (DIT)

Salary range: $100,000 - $115,000. This is a grant-funded, exempt, non-union position.

About the role

Manage Title III projects primarily student-focused on technology, systems, and data architecture. Serve as the primary interface with the campus community and external consultants, and assist the Vice President in evaluating departmental effectiveness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Gather materials; update project documentation, business flows, and lessons-learned information.
• Manage key projects to ensure on-time, under-budget completion and cross-functional interdependencies.
• Provide risk management, issue resolution, and root-cause analysis.
• Manage project budgets and meet all grant reporting requirements; attend required grant-related meetings and training.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and consensus; research, evaluate, and recommend future initiatives and technology.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership for enterprise-wide IT applications and projects.
• Coordinate information-technology governance activities and oversee digital-transformation initiatives.
• Develop innovative approaches and assist with troubleshooting.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Minimum of five years of IT customer service and technical project-management experience.
• Understanding of technology and business applications.
• Experience as Lead IT Project Manager with a blend of program management, business analysis, and IT technical skills preferred.
• Experience deploying large IT systems and managing complex technical challenges.
• PMP certification preferred.
