Project Coordinator
About the role
A Project Coordinator is a member of the project management team who supports project managers by overseeing administrative tasks, communicating with stakeholders and ensuring resource availability for the project team. The Project Coordinator is to assist the project manager with coordinating the schedule, working on the budget, and taking care of issues and risks of the project. The job to make sure the project management framework is well-organized and that it runs smoothly. This can include communicating with various departments in the organization to make sure everyone is on the same page.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring project progress and creating project status reports for project managers and stakeholders.
- Assisting with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks.
- Scheduling stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
- Managing project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule or scope statement, as directed by the project manager.
- Executing a variety of project management administrative tasks such as billing and bookkeeping.
- Support team members when implementing risk management strategies.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC, Construction or Building Automation and Controls
- 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or a related field.
- Project management certifications: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), project management professional (PMP) or similar.
- Working knowledge of project management software.
- Experience in dealing with a number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of many different disciplines.
- A true team player who has the customer’s best interests first and foremost.
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
