Project Coordinator
This role operates within a Philippine travel agency and tour operator specializing in domestic and international packages, groups, corporate/incentive travel, ticketing, hotels, transfers, and visa assistance. The Project Coordinator ensures project visibility by maintaining clear separation between confirmed facts, pending dependencies, and exceptions—without involvement in customer payment or visa-service operations.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile project coordination with dependency management, ensuring each checkpoint includes a visible source, owner, status, and next action.
- Coordinate documentation and status tracking for travel-related projects, maintaining clarity in ownership and progress.
- Review project tracking with deadline management, ensuring timely updates and actionable next steps.
- Document project details and generate reports to maintain traceability and accountability.
- Maintain quality control and workflow management to surface errors before they impact downstream work.
Decision Standards
Strong project coordination ensures visibility under the demands of a travel agency environment. Completed work must be traceable, unresolved items must have clear owners, and repeated errors must be identified early to prevent rework.
Skills
- Use travel workflow tools and project coordination methods confidently in a travel agency context.
- Apply data accuracy while tracking evidence and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Document process compliance and escalate issues with clear reasoning.
- Exercise judgment in follow-ups, especially when coordination depends on external confirmations rather than assumptions.
