Project Coordinator

About the role

Summit Line Construction, a subsidiary of Quanta Services, Inc., is a premier utility construction company headquartered in Heber City, Utah. They offer powerline and substation construction and maintenance services across various utility markets. The company is experiencing significant growth and seeks motivated individuals to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Aid in budget tracking for labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Support contract preparation and negotiation of revisions, changes, and additions.
• Develop and manage project Schedule of Values (SOV) and prepare billing packages.
• Organize and prepare progress tracking data for reporting.
• Assist in creating and managing project documentation, including submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Communicate with supervisors, subcontractors, or engineers to resolve issues and communicate with clients.
• Manage project material trackers based on customer Bill of Materials (BOM), drawings, and scope.
• Track inventories, production, shortages, and damages.
• Support the execution of corrective actions to address delays, adverse weather conditions, or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly strong in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school degree required; Associate’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
• Mandatory drug and alcohol screenings and background check.

Pay and Schedule

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $25.00/Hr. - USD $40.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
