Responsibilities

  • Act as the central point of contact for project teams. Document and maintain project scope, goals, and deliverables, create, revise, and maintain project plans, including tasks, timelines, and resource allocations, and ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date.

  • Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate project team meetings. Provide clear and effective communication to project teams, stakeholders, and the PMO office. Build relationships within the project team and other departments.

  • Complete administrative work and special projects for the department, take on routine department tasks including but not limited to, processing project requests, documenting project updates, reporting, and resource management.

  • Aid Project Managers or Program Managers on larger enterprise projects, special projects or PMO initiatives. Act as a liaison between project team members and the lead Project Manager on the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Experience as a Project Assistant or similar role.

  • Limited travel if located in Plano, TX, Baton Rouge, LA or Charlotte, NC; travel up to 25% if located elsewhere.

  • Experience with managing and organizing tasks and timelines as well as coordinating, scheduling, and leading meetings.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to stay calm and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year in a project assistant or project coordinator role.

Pay

Commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Remote from Baton Rouge, LA, or hybrid schedule in Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC.
