About the Opportunity
The Project Coordinator supports AI research and operational initiatives by coordinating workflows, communications, and project activities across program leadership, research teams, and domain experts. This role helps keep projects organized and on schedule while tracking deliverables, identifying risks, and facilitating collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for AI data and research projects, keeping workflows organized and on schedule.
- Collaborate with program leads and subject-matter experts to translate project requirements into clear, actionable instructions.
- Support the onboarding, coordination, and engagement of domain experts as projects expand.
- Participate in weekly business reviews, maintain meeting notes and action items, and facilitate project calls as needed.
- Monitor project quality, identify issues, investigate root causes, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Assist research and product teams in developing and refining project processes, standards, and guidelines.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and coordinate resolutions with relevant stakeholders.
- Track milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics using tools such as Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure timely follow-up across teams.
- Adapt workflows, processes, and priorities as project requirements evolve.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- STEM educational background strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or program operations involving cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience coordinating large teams or complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Hands-on experience with AI training data, human data, machine learning, or AI research projects is highly desirable.
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator, Team Lead, EPM, or Program Coordinator supporting AI or data initiatives is advantageous.
- Experience supporting AI or data programs within technology-driven organizations is preferred.
- Strong data management skills, including proficiency with Excel and SQL.
- Working knowledge of coding or technical concepts, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead, coordinate, or manage large groups effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
Pay
Compensation of $45–$55 per hour.
