Project Coordinator
Dewberry is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Rancho Cordova, CA office. This role supports a variety of project-related functions in a customer-focused civil engineering environment, working on diverse projects such as roadways, bridges, and water/wastewater infrastructure.
About the Role
The Project Coordinator will support the Management Team and Project Managers with project account set-up, invoicing, financials, and other project-related tasks. Responsibilities include assisting with deliverable production, monitoring budgets and schedules, marketing new projects, preparing proposals, and interfacing with clients and project managers.
Responsibilities
- Support the Management Team, Project Managers, and other professional and technical staff.
- Create, edit, and maintain forms, templates, reports, graphs, specifications, schedules, and correspondence using Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
- File and archive both electronic and hard-copy project-related documents.
- Routinely review, prepare, and distribute financial reports as needed.
- Schedule meetings with customers/clients and project team members.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree minimum (preference for engineering or related fields).
- Background in project support, including managing project schedules, budgets, and finances.
- Experience in transportation and water-related project management or consulting services is preferred.
- Experience in project and business-related accounting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
- Ability to become proficient in company-based computer software programs and processes.

Pay
The projected salary range for this position is $38–$43 per hour ($80,000–$90,000 annually), depending on skills, experience, location, and market conditions.
