Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager - Workspace Construction
Responsibilities
- Aid the Project Manager in maintaining project quality and efficiency.
- Manage tasks during the construction process, including submittals and RFI processes.
- Prepare proposals for new projects or project variations.
- Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems.
- Ensure key information and data are shared and retained appropriately.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Interface with multiple stakeholders, including executive management, project team members, consultants, and vendors.
- Coordinate project information among team members/stakeholders.
- Attend relevant meetings, update and maintain issue/action logs.
- Transcribe meeting minutes and action items, driving their closure.
- Create detailed project plans, attend status meetings, and ensure open items are closed.
- Contribute to monthly reporting on various aspects of the client's program.
- Prepare various reports for multiple audiences, including project management reports, executive dashboards, and other reporting requirements.
- Handle daily tasks such as submittal approval management, RFI processing, change order management, meeting coordination, punch-list management, administration of project observation reports, participation in commissioning, and transition of close-out documentation to operations.
- Assist with procurement of suppliers/resources as needed.
- Maintain performance management techniques and monitor project costs/spending.
- Liaise with the client's finance team and others to obtain and review finance/cost data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proactive, organized, thorough work ethic.
- Effective and collaborative teamwork skills.
- Exposure to project management software systems.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Google tools.
- Strong communication skills.
Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $80K-$90K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
