Duties & Responsibilities
- Career coordination for select company projects
- Clarify scope of work with customers at the beginning of each project
- Oversee engineering and purchasing to ensure drawings, materials, and schedules are correct
- Coordinate manpower schedules for projects
- Proactively communicate with field operations for schedule of installers or sub-installation
- Manage profitability by coordinating with purchasing department for buyout options
- Attend project turnover meetings to ensure project information, scope, and communication are accurate, timely, and responsibilities are clearly defined
- Check and confirm shop drawings, order acknowledgments, and product data submittals
- Support engineering and purchasing to ensure drawings, materials, and schedules are correct
- Work with accounting and estimating to ensure estimating values are correct
- Communicate with project team members to maintain current contract status for all projects
- Review purchase and delivery schedule in order to complete projects on time
- Maintain job completion system (open items list) for zero punch list items to eliminate return trips
- Assist PMs with field dimensions, site surveys, punch lists, and other field-related requirements as necessary
- Track job notes and correspondence
- Complete request for information (RFI’s) and additional work proposals (AWP’s)
Skills & Competencies
- 3+ years’ experience in construction - administration, labor, management, or related fields
- 4-year college degree preferred, High School degree required
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, email, internet, and basic office infrastructure (printing/scanning)
- Able to understand spatial relationships/design
- Able to coordinate information and schedules
- Able to lift 50+ lbs. using proper lifting techniques
- Safe, clean driving record (employment contingent on successful completion of a background check)
- Well organized and able to appropriately prioritize tasks
- Professional communication and excellent customer service
- Estimating experience a plus
- Finance/Accounting experience a plus
- Experience using Timberline a plus
