About the role

As a Project Controls Sr Analyst - Cost, you will serve as the Cost Lead on an Oil and Gas mega project. This senior-level position involves performing all aspects of cost analysis, providing guidance to less experienced project controls personnel, and having supervisory responsibilities within the project team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project control function of a project and influence internal and external clients.
• Serve as the lead facilitator of project forecasts.
• Identify and advise the project team or JV partners on issues affecting project execution.
• Support proposal efforts.
• Lead the project cost controls team to prepare baseline cost deliverables.
• Lead and analyze monthly/quarterly cost reports.
• Lead quantity management reporting.
• Lead the change management program.
• Lead risk analysis and manage the risk register.
• Apply key scheduling processes.
• Act in a "lead person" capacity, providing work direction without formal management responsibility.

Qualifications

• Four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management with six or more years of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience, or
• No four-year Bachelor's degree required with eight or more years of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in a Home Office or Field Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong cost experience with understanding of projects involving multiple currencies.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment.
• Occasional travel up to 25% may be required.
• Construction Site Environment: Requires standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, moving, and walking long distances in and around confined, cluttered, or uneven areas.
• Ability to see and hear naturally or with correction, work at heights above 5 feet, and climb/maintain balance on stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
• Ability to work up to a 12-hour shift in environments that may include cramped workspaces, extreme temperatures, inclement weather, distracting noise levels, and hazardous equipment.
