Project Controls Specialist - Cost
The Opportunity
The Project Controls Cost Analyst will work collaboratively with an external client and their project team to develop, manage and control project budgets for utility scale transmission energy projects in various life-cycle phases from development through commercial operation. Candidate must be able to work collaboratively with Project Management and the client’s project teams.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with Project Managers and project team to develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans
- Cook with Project Managers and other stakeholders to ensure project financial data is complete and supports project completion to plan
- Gather project financial information and data from all project stakeholders
- Prepare detailed project cashflow forecasts upon request
- Prepare monthly cost analysis including cost performance index (CPI) reporting; earned value (EV) analysis, budget, actual, variance and forecasted cost analysis and reporting
- Analyze project financial trends by comparing budget against actual, plan, and forecast data; provide recommendations and guidance to the Project Manager
- Ad-hoc reporting related to project/program
- Maintain project cost documentation
- Manage and coordinate project related purchase orders and material delivery
- Project set up, administration, and close-out in SAP
- Attend project/management meetings
- Maintain customer focus to meet or exceed customer expectations and represent Ulteig in a professional and courteous manner
What We Expect From You
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 3 years of project cost, earned value or related experience
- Strong quantitative skills with ability to design moderately complex spreadsheet solutions, database queries, and other analytical tools
- Demonstrates the ability to be organized and work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
- Demonstrates excellent leadership, verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Achieves results by problem solving, setting priorities and organization

Pay
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $96,500 - $130,500 Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
