About the role

As the Project Controls Lead Analyst - Oil & Gas Scheduler, you will work in a Manager/Specialist position assigned to Project Controls. You will have supervisory and lead responsibility over a group of project controls personnel, including hiring, discipline, and pay administration. This role functions as a technical specialist who develops advanced concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a diverse team of professionals to achieve successful results or functions as a technical specialist developing advanced concepts.
  • Planning/Scheduling: Leads planning and schedule preparation on complex projects, including startup planning. Addresses contractual requirements related to schedule control. Expert in scheduling forensics as required by the business unit.
  • PJC Management: Leads the project controls team on the most complex and highest-risk projects. Collaborates with the project management leadership team to ensure project success. Identifies process improvements and leads staff development.
  • PJC Specialist: Recognized as an expert in a project controls specialist area. Develops tools, systems, and processes to optimize effectiveness.
  • Management Responsibilities: Supervises the work of others, including hiring, discipline, and pay administration of subordinates.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in the oil and gas industry and expert-level Primavera P6 experience.
    • Master’s degree or local equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management.
    • Experience serving in a Leadership role for a medium- to large-sized EPC project in both Home Office and Field.
    • Certificate from either PMI or AACE.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Four-year Bachelor’s degree with eight or more years of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience, or
    • No four-year Bachelor’s degree required with ten or more years of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected), which may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.

Work Environment

  • Office Environment: Requires sitting, talking, hearing, keyboard input, and seeing. Occasional travel up to 25% may be required.
  • Construction Site Environment: Requires standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, moving, and walking long distances in confined, cluttered, or uneven areas. Ability to work at heights above 5 feet, climb ladders/scaffolds, and work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperatures, weather, lighting, and noise conditions.

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.

Pay

Final compensation is determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, internal alignment, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.

  • State of Colorado: $127,754 – $191,609
  • State of Minnesota: $121,947 – $182,900
