Project Business Manager

About the role

A Business Manager with strong analytical skills and experience in the construction industry will be responsible for managing financial administrative activities, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures, and providing financial analysis and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Manages the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations.
• Provides financial analysis and makes recommendations to management.
• Affirms that subordinate ledgers reconcile with the general ledger.
• Aids in updating budgets and cost controls, including cost allocations.
• Supports the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
• Maintains adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Manages accounts payable and accounts receivable, including payment and collection efforts.
• Manages company accounts, check preparations, and obtaining authorized signatures.
• Aids in managing project and/or District asset inventories and District payroll.

Requirements

• 5+ years finance experience or training in the construction industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Management skills required.
• Ability to delegate tasks and communicate expectations with staff.
• General understanding of construction industry and project accounting.
• Understands state and local requirements concerning sales/use tax.

• Salary range: USD $115,000.00/Yr. - USD $165,000.00/Yr.
