Project Architect
Responsibilities
- Design and manage school projects, focusing on K-12 and higher education facilities
- Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative work environment
- Negotiate contracts, present designs, and write proposals
- Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and expectations
- Oversee project timelines and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- Licensed Architect is required for both locations, but candidates on track for licensure may be considered for the LA location
- Experience designing schools in California, including new builds or modernizations
- Bachelor's degree in architecture
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Revit
- Management experience is required
- A portfolio is essential for evaluation of compensation expectations
