Supervises a team of project coordinators and ensures the integrity of billing by verifying accuracy of all daily production reports.
Responsibilities
- Assists Project Managers in providing verified daily production reports
- Identifies and recognizes footage calculation errors and material usage issues submitted on dailies
- Interacts with Project Managers and Clients
- Supervises and ensures project coordinators accurately enter daily production, including material usage and footage reconciliations, in compliance with company deadlines and customer requirements
- Resolves and researches purchase orders and changes in purchase orders
- Follows up on accounts receivable and outstanding invoices with clients
- Reviews data entry, including production schedules, for accuracy to ensure payroll and subcontractor pay are correctly completed before weekly payroll requirements
- Develops and produces detailed production reports in various formats with project managers and clients
- Collaborates and coordinates interdepartmental issues with other team leaders for efficiency
- Trains team members (cross-training on all projects)
- Develops procedures and trains team in proper documentation and daily production report submittal
- Coordinates unit codes with corporate and local personnel and updates Master Daily Production Report formats
- Ensures proper signature process is followed in accordance with project managers
- Builds relationships and trust with clients quickly
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma; Associate degree in Accounting preferred but not required
- Three to five years of strong bookkeeping or related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form with excellent interpersonal skills
- Superior organizational, planning, delegating, and time management skills
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to supervise people and exercise authority in a reasonable manner
- Intermediate Excel and spreadsheet skills
- 2-3 years PRISM experience is preferred
- Experience using Google Suite is a plus
- Ability to be assertive and a team player
