Project Analyst
About the role
The Analyst II provides business analysis and support services to the Record Management Branch (RMB) under the general direction of the Supervisor I. This position acts as a highly-skilled, independent consultant for the RMB, supporting various program needs, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and consulting with subject matter experts to meet statutory and case law mandates.
The Analyst II analyzes program procedures, policies, and practices; identifies, documents, and implements changes to program procedures, training materials, and productivity metrics; and supports continuous improvement processes from concept identification through project implementation. The role also assists branch efforts to meet mandates through high-value IT and non-IT solutions by documenting business needs, requirements, and concepts.
This is a 12-month limited-term position, but may be extended to a maximum of 24 months and/or may become permanent based on operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform as an independent consultant for the Record Management Branch, supporting program needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Consult with subject matter experts to meet statutory and case law mandates.
- Analyze program procedures, policies, and practices.
- Identify, document, and implement changes to program procedures and training materials for internal and external use.
- Develop and track productivity metrics.
- Support continuous improvement processes from concept identification through project implementation.
- Assist branch efforts to meet mandates through high-value IT and non-IT solutions.
- Document business needs, business requirements, and concepts.
Pay
Salary range: $6,031.00 - $7,775.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of the alternate range, when applicable.
Schedule
- Full-time, 12-month limited-term position (may be extended or become permanent).
- Day shift, Monday - Friday.
