About the role

The Project Accounting Specialist supports the financial success of Boldt's projects by managing customer billings, reviewing project costs, and ensuring accurate financial documentation. This role involves partnering closely with project managers and operations teams to keep projects financially on track.

Responsibilities

• Supports financial success of projects by managing customer billings, reviewing project costs, and ensuring accurate financial documentation.
• Collaborates with project managers and operations teams to maintain project financial health.
• Ensures timely completion of tasks by following up and collaborating across teams.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, or customer billing processes.
• Basic knowledge of construction project accounting principles (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and validate financial data.
• Prioritize collaboration across teams and follow up to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of construction project accounting principles (preferred).
• Experience with construction project accounting or job cost accounting (nice to have).
• Familiarity with expense reporting or auditing credit card transactions (nice to have).
• Experience working in a project-based or matrixed environment (nice to have).

Pay

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00 per hour. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
