Project Accountant-Construction - AECOM Hunt

About the role

A Project Accountant supports moderately complex projects, working under general supervision. The position requires a proven ability to apply professional concepts in a productive, consistent manner. Maintains records according to generally accepted accounting practices. Performs audits and generates special financial reports. Reviews projects for accurate revenue recognition and provides project analysis and recommendations based on findings.

Requirements

This position allows for hybrid work as approved by management. Minimum Requirements: BA/BS relevant curriculum and 2 years of accounting experience or A/AS and 4 years of relevant experience or HSD/GED and 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience with GAAP. Experience in construction accounting. Experience with construction financial documentation. Strong Excel experience. CMiC or Textura experience is preferred. Microsoft Office Proficiency.
