Project Accountant
About the role

Responsibilities
- Aid in the accounting and processing of payables for subcontractor invoices
- Support the project close process
- Track lien waivers, retention payments, and vendor/sub inquiries
- Collaborate with Project Managers on the billing process using the Timberline billing module
- Contribute to job cost processes through the Timberline job module
- Assist with collections and recording of cash
- Participate in month-end closing
- Support the development and implementation of internal controls, policies, and procedures
Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent accounting experience
- Accredited four-year college degree with major coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Preferred construction industry experience
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Sage/Timberline accounting software is a plus

Pay
$90,000 - $100,000 annually

This is a full-time, in-office position based in our San Jose office, located in Santana Row.
