About the role

Well established Springfield area privately held construction company has created a new Project Accountant role due to growth. Responsibilities include Tracking accounting for and analyzing project cost for multiple construction projects. This is a collaborative role as you'll be working with project managers and internal accounting groups.

Responsibilities

Tracking accounting for and analyzing project cost for multiple construction projects.

Requirements

• BS in Accounting or finance
• 2 years of project cost accounting and analysis In construction or similar industry
• Attention to detail and strong excel skills

Qualifications

• Candidates with strong core accounting experience including general Ledger reconciliation, month end close and financial statement preparation may qualify for a higher salary range of $100,000

Base salary range of $70,000 - $85,000 - $100,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits.
