About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our team in Gahanna, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process AIA billing (G702/G703 forms) accurately and timely
- Manage job costing, budget tracking, and cost analysis for multiple projects
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Monitor project financial performance and identify variances
- Clock with project managers to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition
- Track subcontractor invoices, lien waivers, and compliance documentation
- Aid in accounts payable and receivable related to assigned projects
- Aid month-end close processes related to project accounting
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in project accounting, preferably in construction
- Hands-on experience with AIA billing
- Strong understanding of job costing and percentage-of-completion accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with construction accounting software preferred
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
