Project Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our team in Gahanna, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process AIA billing (G702/G703 forms) accurately and timely
• Manage job costing, budget tracking, and cost analysis for multiple projects
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records
• Monitor project financial performance and identify variances
• Clock with project managers to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition
• Track subcontractor invoices, lien waivers, and compliance documentation
• Aid in accounts payable and receivable related to assigned projects
• Aid month-end close processes related to project accounting

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project accounting, preferably in construction
• Hands-on experience with AIA billing
• Strong understanding of job costing and percentage-of-completion accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with construction accounting software preferred
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
