Progressive Pulmonary Care Unit RN (Full-Time) (Nights)

Position Overview This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a specialized pulmonary progressive care unit, focusing on patients with acute conditions such as lung transplants, pulmonary hypertension, and ventilator dependence. The nurse collaborates with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, assess physical and psychosocial needs, and educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care. Key Responsibilities Promote patient and family-centered care, ensuring safety and quality compliance.Develop, execute, and document personalized care plans in coordination with the healthcare team.Assess and evaluate patients’ physical, emotional, and cultural needs, addressing barriers to care.Participate in ongoing professional development and safety initiatives.Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and adherence to protocols. Qualifications & Skills Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; Bachelor's preferred.Licensure: Active RN license.Experience: Preferred two years of relevant nursing experience.Skills: Critical thinking, patient education, teamwork, cultural competence.
